Reviews
What an excellent store I used to volunteer here and was amazed that they had vinyl for one dollar a disc amazingly over 15 years later they still do. The books they have are amazing. The prices are outstanding. This place is a real treasure, and everyone who reads or listens to music should come here.
I recently visited the Friends of the Library Bookstore for the first time, and I was truly impressed. Their extensive young adult book selection and incredibly low prices blew me away! As a 6th-grade Reading and English Language Arts teacher, I couldn't believe my luck finding such affordable gems for our classroom library. With the fantastic customer service I received, the experience was even better. I left with over 100 books, and I know my students will be thrilled. I'll definitely be returning for more literary treasures!
Quite a variety of content. Likely something for everyone to be found, although 1 of the particular classic children's books I was seeking (Madeline) was not to be found, I did get another I wanted (Beatrix Potter treasury). Great prices. Most books were in very decent condition for being used.
I’ve been coming here for years and always leave with something good! The prices are unmatched. There’s a great selection of books, vinyl, CDs, postcards, puzzles, and more. The staff members are amazing and always willing to help! Such a cozy atmosphere with the retro posters and little trinkets around the store too. I could spend hours here (and I have)! 😊
Love Love Love this place! The staff and management are all so friendly and helpful. They really truly love puting the right book in your hands.
Volunteering here is super rewarding. You really get to make a difference. And it feeds my OCD soul.
Found the complete trilogy of obscure books I've been wanting!! Very large diverse selection at reasonable prices. Felt like a treasure hunt!
Out of the two nearby “Friends of the Library Bookstore” locations, this one is my favorite! The books here are dirt cheap, the staff are super engaging and kind, and I was even able to put my name down for a book that wasn’t in the bookstore, and I got a text to come buy it once they received a used copy.
This whole bookstore is so awesome and I have made several trips to it already. One time my husband and I gifted $20 to each other just for a fun book buying spree, and guess what? We both came out with several books in our hands, all totaling a measly $20! I literally haven’t found any other used bookstore in the area that comes close to these prices so you gotta check out the collection for yourself.
The best part of the store is that they have a lot of popular books! Basically, any big name author or book I could think of, I was able to find it. I love this bookstore and its become my go-to used bookstore in MOCO.
This should say everything.
In my attached picture, you should be able to see the novel Foundryside. It's a excellent quality, functionally new condition novel that has been out for just a few years. The hardcover jacket says it's supposed to be $27.
All of the 8 books (all of which were nearly excellent condition) plus two records were LESS than that one book cost when it first debuted.
Lots of variety of old and new books. Great condition. Great prices. 'Nuff said.
